The EOI (School of Industrial Organization) was created in 1955 and, therefore, it is the first business school in Spain and one of the oldest in Europe. It was pioneer in creating programs on business skills and improving companies. Besides, by improving companies and institutions it also played an important role in the modernising process of Spanish economy and industry.

Today they aim to train professionals who, after concluding their studies at EOI, are able to conduct business practises based on four principles: sustainability, new technologies, entrepreneurship and development of a global economy.

Valoración del programa

This International Master in Suistainable Development and Corporate Responsibility was born to show the participants what is both the actual situation in suistainable development and the future trends. Bt doing this program, the students will become leaders and policy makers who'll face the global challenges of the 21st century in relation to the topics of the course.

Do you want to contribute to human development seeking to relieve poverty, satisfying the basic needs of all peoples promoting sustainable economic growth?

Do you want to exchange experiences among students coming from all over the world?

Then you might want to join the IMSD programme!

EOI offers an innovative and eminently practical programme that focuses on building up collective knowledge and understanding the real situation and future trends in sustainable development and corporate responsibility in international companies and institutions. The purpose of the IMSD programme is to prepare a new generation of responsible business and community leaders that will take organisations and policy makers to meeting the global challenges of the 21st century.

You will get the experience of top professionals, experts in development, environmental management, CSR and Social Entrepreneurship (link al video Clase Abierta IMSD: Social Entrepreneurship, Daniel Truran) among others.

The IMSD is aimed at university graduates or young professionals, who are interested in developing their professional career within the area of Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility Management. Applicants are welcome from any subject discipline. We need form them positive attitude and motivation to think of new ideas and new projects.


Assessment and Evaluation:

The master's assessment system has a two-pronged approach.

Continuous evaluation

Students are assessed over the course of each term or teaching period, in a process which, as appropriate, takes into account class participation, written work, presentations in class, practical activities and guided academic activities, as well as objective testing or examinations.

Each one of these concepts is allocated a percentage mark which, when added up or weighted, contributes the final grade awarded for the subject assessed. The percentages for each of the concepts referred to above will be itemised, along with any others that individual teachers or departments may decide to include.

Furthermore, during the assessment period students are monitored individually to assess their level of participation and commitment through personal interviews conducted with the programme director.


Final project

As a complement to the assessment of the courses, students shall submit and subsequently present their final project, completed in the final period of the Master's. Students who have successfully completed all the subjects as well as the final dissertation, shall will be awarded the Diploma of the “International Master in Sustainable Development and Corporate Responsibility” by EOI Business School.
