Since it was founded in 1955, the School of Industrial Organization –EOI- is the first business school created in Spain. They were, therefore, the first ones in developing programs on business skills in Spain, collaborating actively in the modernising process of our economy and industry.
Nowadays, their students are trained following four main principles: entrepreneurship, development of global economy, sustainability and new technologies.

In this course, students will be committed to promote sustainable companies and social innovation, developing their management skills. They will learn how to manage a social enterprise, providing them practical experience in the foundation and management of a social venture capital fund. Furthermore, they will be able to understand social economy, its challenges, successes or uniqueness, among others.

After taking part in this master program, you will be able to manage a social enterprise.
You may earn about 30,000 Euro per year, depending on your experience or the country you are working in.

Specialisation directed at students with entrepreneurial spirit and the desire to manage, fund and/or participate in their future careers a social enterprise.
Objetives:
Develop future business leaders committed to promote social innovation and sustainable enterprises, the management skills and resources of participants seeking to manage a social enterprise in the future, provide practical experience in the creation and management of a social venture capital fund and management of social enterprises and establish a clear understanding of the Social economy (its uniqueness, challenges, successes, ….) and natural overlaps with the other sectors.
Methodology:
Class Lectures
Weekly sessions led by outstanding teaching professionals with a solid professional background bringing both theory and practice together into the classroom. Our professors are expert facilitators that believe in participatory learning, fostering engagement, dialogue and discussion among the students.
Case Studies
The case method is an extremely valuable instrument that allows theory and practise to come together for study as a way to mirror the business reality in a nutshell. The case study methodology, situate students in difficult and challenging business situations that they have to effectively resolve. There are no simple solutions, yet it is an excellent instrument for facilitating the exchange of ideas and perspectives, countering and defending different points of view and building up on peer’s ideas.
Forum & Discussion with Leading Business Professionals
EOI offers an extensive program of conference and sessions with prominent business professionals, institutional leaders and outstanding members of the community to discuss and share their experiences in making business in a global environment from the most diverse perspective. Students are highly encouraged to participate in all of the events.
Professional Development Seminars
Small seminar groups geared to strengthen “soft skills” such as leadership, communication, team building, oral presentations, debates, and career planning.
Foreign Language Support
Intensive language support will be provided in order to acquire the basic business proficiency in both English and Spanish.
